What is Pictoversity?
Pictoversity is a magazine where education meets storytelling through comics. We give artists a space to explore ideas, share perspectives, and turn complex topics into visual stories anyone can understand.
Our Mission
We aim to…
- Use magazines to empower artistic voices
- Encourage children to stay curious and become active participants in their own education
- Foster critical thinking and visual/reading comprehension
- Create comics perfect for ages k-12
Meet The Team!

Yumie Lee
Founder
I am someone who loves writing, art, film, music, poetry, comics, and sports all at once. That is a lot. Like most teenagers, I was overwhelmed with juggling between all of these different subjects.
When I realized I could connect them through comics and storytelling, my sense of self and direction became stronger. I want to help those that also take interest in multiple things, those who are determined to find themselves by bringing their passions together, not choosing between them.
Now, sharing this discovery with others, I hope to show that learning doesn’t have to be limited to classrooms or textbooks. Through comics, we can make every story, including our own, creative, educational, and fun again.
Chika Egbuonu
Co-Founder
As a co-founder, I bring a strong interest in art and creativity alongside a business-minded approach. I primarily manage the website and advertising, focusing on how the platform is built, presented, and grown.
I joined this project because I saw clear potential in its vision, using creativity as a powerful tool for learning, and I’m driven to help turn that vision into something sustainable, scalable, and impactful.
